Have you ever wanted more joy in your life and your business?
Sometimes we are just so full of anger and hate along with frustration with our lives and our business that we don’t think we can find that happiness or joy there anymore. Here are 5 tips to grow your joy in your life and in your business.
Tip 1: Find the value!
We all started these businesses for a reason, why did you start your business? Tell me in a comment below. Did you start because you loved the products, the opportunity or to gain new friendships? or maybe another reason. I have found that when people start to feel frustrated or burned out its because they have disconnected with that reason they started and that reason may have changed. Spend time reconnecting with why you do this in order to find your joy again
Tip 2: Take care of yourself
We tend to get so consumed with our business that we forget to take care of ourselves. Constantly putting the business and the steps we need to take for others first will take a toll on you. When was the last time you consciously did something to help you be better, exercised, spent time with the family, ate a healthy meal instead of takeout?
Tip 3: Reprogram your mind
When you start beating yourself up, you are taking the joy out of your life. We say things like “I’m not good enough”, “I can’t do this.” I want you to change that to phrases like, “I’m learning how to do this”. “I’m getting better at this.”
Tip 4: Surround yourself with positive people
There are a couple of parts to this. First, you want to make sure that the people that you choose to surround yourself with make you feel uplifted and in turn uplift them. Secondly and this is the hardest part. you have to learn to shut down those that are negative to you. What people do not realize is that why you vent to someone else you are doing two things. You are bringing the negativity to them which harms them and secondly, you are confirming the negative reaction. So you are bringing truth to the bad in your life and we don’t want that. We want to remove the bad from our lives.
Tip 5: MEDITATE
I am not talking hours on hours of meditating, I am talking about taking a moment to breathe. Half the time we are frsutrated and angry is because we are reacting to something and not taking a few minutes just to rest, think it through and handle it. That anger takes away from our joy!
